Abstract

This contribution moves away from the room for maneuver left open by the European legislator on the protection of personal data, in favor of the Member States and with the issuing of ad hoc provisions, in recognition of the protection of confidentiality in favor of deceased natural persons. This guarantee, expressly provided for by the revised Privacy Code, as found in this work, outlines food for thought, to be reconciled with the succession law.
