Evolution and future perspectives of European Territorial Cooperation

Abstract

The paper analyses the evolution and future perspectives of European Territorial Cooperation. More specifically, in the first part of the research, the aim is to describe and classify the different E.U. programmes and legal instruments in order to define their legal status and to clarify in which way each one of them brings its own contribution to the general framework of European Territorial Cooperation. After doing this, the second goal of the study is to try to understand which are the future perspectives of European Territorial Cooperation and what this particular type of cooperation could add to the European integration process in the area of administrative law.
