Abstract

The sports movement and sports practice represent the subjective and objective domain which, associated with sports rules, makes it possible to deduce the existence of a sports system distinct from those of the State.

However, the relationship between state systems and the sports system cannot be defined in a certain and static manner, independently of the doctrinal orientations that one wishes to adopt, which obviously influences the quality and degree of recognized autonomy, strongly dependent on the values and principles that each state system adopts and promotes, as well as the role assigned to sport in the pursuit of these values and principles.

The very definition of sport seems to be changing, because it encompasses sporting disciplines which do not involve particular physical activities and which are perceived as "games"
